I'm going to have to resurrect this post because i continue to have issues with the RSS component. I've tried using trusted connection, and once i put SQL Server 2k8 in mixed mode, i then tried to use a SQL account with db_owner access, but nothing seems to work. I even connected to the db using my vsts client to get the exact connection string, which i then pasted into web.config.

<add name="ScrumDashboard" connectionString="Data Source=ca01s02;Initial Catalog=ScrumDashboard;Persist Security Info=True;User ID=scrumdashboarduser;Password=<>" />

Does anybody have any clever troubleshooting ideas i can follow-up on?

when i try clicking http://ca01s02:8090/scrumdashboard/rss.ashx i get

c:\Users\per\Documents\Visual Studio 2008\Projects\...   does not exist on my machine
