Single TFS project

I'm new to Scrum dashboard so bear with me it the question is silly.

I'm working on a TFS server which has one TFS project. However, in reality there are about 10 different projects all sharing that same TFS project (no, I'm not responsible for that design, and no, I can't change it).

The 10 projects are assigned to different work areas in the TFS project.

Is it possible to use Scrum Dashboard to manage one of those 10 projects, or will Scrum Dashboard have difficulty separating work items (which are in my project/area and which are in other projects/areas) since it's just one TFS project?

We are multiple teams working in the same project and it works fine, we use the "Team" field to separate work between the teams.

..and the Product Owners use Area to separate work before it is assigned to a team (by custom queries etc). Scrum Dashboard only use teams to separate work.
