WI's won't show up on Dashboard anymore

Hello,
Im at a loss how to deal with this issue.
I upgraded the SQL server for my TFS 2008 server installation to a fully licensed Enterprise version from the expiring trial version I had.
I then applied the SQL SP2.
Everything in TFS seems to be working fine except ScrumDashboard.
It will bring up a dashboard for a project correctly, but when we select a new sprint we have created, none of the work items show up below.
The report up top does show up.
No new sprint we create will show WIs anymore.
Any ideas ?
I cleared out the Dashboard cache just in case. No change.
Based on the Dashboard install instructions, I don't see how a reinstall would change anything.
Please help.

That is strange, since Scrum Dashboard only query the API of TFS to get work items it should not be affected by changing the SQL Server.

Sorry for not having any good advice here, anyone else know what this can be ?

Well, its definitely comforting to know your using the APIs.
I can go back to all the old sprints we had before that upgrade and they show all their data just fine.
But any new sprint is hosed.
Not sure if that helps, but that may give you something else to consider?

What exactly is missing, is it the Product Backlogs all together or is it the Sprint Backlogs items only?

Also, does "Create product backlog" + "Create task" work in Scrum Dashboard ? If they do please check the differences between those work items and the one you created yourself.

then entire product backlog.
nothing is there below the headers.

further info....
I can see data from a recent sprint if I run the "Sprint Task Board" report (I think its a Conchango one, if you have that template)
But I cannot see the data if I run the "Sprint View" report.
Not sure yet why that would be.

ok..so I found the problem.
None of the SBIs that were created were tied to a PBI.
So even though they are tied to the sprint, they won't show up in the tool.

The ScrumDashboard has a bug where it requires a PBI for the WI to show up.
Items without a PBI disappear off the map.
I think a fix would be to creat an "Unknown" or "UnAssigned" type value under the PBI column to represent anything that has not been tied to a PBI correctly.
This would allow it to be worked with or corrected if needed.
